T-Ball is a non-competitive, instructional league designed to introduce young players to baseball. It provides the opportunity to learn, develop and practice the fundamental baseball skills. There will be one practice a week with the whole division and one game per week. One parent from each team will umpire each game, and all players will hit the ball off a tee.
For 5 year olds who have played at least one year of T-Ball and 6 year olds new to Coach pitch. This level is instructional, is played with a safety ball, with the focus on improving fundamentals and learning to hit coaching pitching in preparation for the Coach/Kid Pitch division, which will introduce kid pitch.
For 6 year olds that have played at least one year of Coach Pitch as well as all 7 year olds. This level is instructional, is played with a safety ball and the focus at this level will be on introducing kid pitch in preparation for the 8-9 Year Old division, which is more competitive and has primarily kid pitch.
Competitive baseball for 8-13 olds. After evaluations there will be a draft to place kids in the correct division.
The divisions represented here play on a 46/60 or 50/70 field and will have umpires. These divisions will play against Bartlett teams and may travel to other teams within District 13. At the end of the season an All Star team will be formed to complete in the Little League All Stars. The Major All Star team competes for an opportunity to go to Williamsport and play on ESPN.
Competitive baseball for 13 to 16 year olds. This level is played with a 60' mound and 90' bases as players progress to the high school level. Games will involve some travel to compete against District 13 teams and may include travel to other Districts (Seniors only).
Division placement will be determined after Evaluations through a draft.
15 year olds on High School teams must play in Seniors.
Age 4-18 (ages as of May 1st). Ages 15-18 can choose between the Challenger Division or the Senior Division. The Bartlett Challenger (Special Needs) Division of Little League is a program that was started in 1994 for mentally and physically challenged youth, helping them to enjoy the full benefit of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities. More than the skills of baseball learned through the experience.
Age 15 and up - no age limit (ages based on May 1st). Players ages 15-18 can choose either Challenger Division or Senior Division. The Bartlett Senior Challenger Division is a program that was started in 2015 for mentally and physically challenged young adults and adults helping them to enjoy the full benefit of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.
